Really Pants Blog Relaunch!
Thursday, April 30th, 2009Welcome to the newly relaunched Really Pants blog! This will now be your number 1 resource for real nappy news, reviews, product launches and competitions! We now have 3 new fantastic real nappy using contributors who will be reviewing products and writing feature articles, heres a little bit about each one….
Vicky
Hi, my name is Vicky and I used to be a primary school teacher in the days before my son took
over my life. He was born in January and has been wearing cloth since the day he was born- I think his first nappy was a red itti bitti d’lish and the obsession started there! He now has an extensive nappy wardrobe and I’m still looking……(but don’t tell my husband!)
At the moment I love bumgenius v3s best but the bad thing is that he won’t grow out of them so I have no excuse to buy more- I need to have a girl next so that I can justify buying lots of lovely, cuddly pink nappies!

Salla
My name is Salla and am a mum-of-3 living in London. I have used real nappies on all 3 of my children and have a vast experience in using real nappies from a muslin square folded into an origami to the wonderful Bitti d’Lish snap-in-one and anything in between. I also sew nappies and knit woolies for my son.
My current favourite real nappy is BumGenius organic AIO and favourite thing about real nappies is definitely the feel-good factor that I get by throwing the nappy in the bucket waiting to be washed compared to binning a disposable nappy that ends up in a landfill!
Lyndsey
Im Lyndsey, mother of 2, and have been using cloth nappies for the past 5 months on my daughter. The only regret I have is not using cloth nappies with my son, using real nappies has thankfully been nothing like my memories of my mum standing at a twin tub and my dad struggling with the complicated folding technique of terry squares!
My favourite real nappy is Bumgenius and thing I love is not having to smell that awful disposable smell all day long (didn’t realise how bad they smell
until I was going away for the weekend and had to use as not planned ahead
enough and ran out of real!).
Check back often for new and exciting posts from all the team, and dont forget to get involved too by adding your comments whenever you have something to add, we love to hear from you!
