The wipe issue……

When I first decided to use and then actually used real nappies, one question never entered my head…..  What would I use to wipe my babies bottom?

Once I had decided what nappy to use, the issue became very apparent!  What do I do with the wipe after I have used it??? With real nappies all the messy bits can go down the toilet, wipes cannot for the most part.  My dilemma began…..

I found some flushable wipes, Organics, purchased from this very site, and started to use these not quite buying into the real wipe scenario.  These proved quite expensive, particularly due to the number of poos my baby does….  I then bought some standard washable wipes, and the problem was solved, although out and about changes still proved a challenge until I discovered Cheeky Wipes (see my review), and the rest is history!

My mother (her of the twin tub flash back), when I proudly showed her my washable wipes, quite matter of factly stated “Flannels, going back to what we used to use.”!  Well it is obvious now, it certainly wasn’t when I went cloth!

So if you are where I was, and spending a fortune on disposable wipes- have a try of washables, you wont go back!
