I have been using Tots Bots for two years and washing them with unscented Ecover & Mio Fresh no issues. Just bought some bum Genius from Fill Your Pants and we now have the smell issue. Don't know if the new nappies are connected to this.

Done the suds test but as Ecover doesn't 'sud' anyway can't tell if this is the issue. Was going to 'strip' them to see if that works but both nappies advise no hotter than 60 degrees centigrade and really don't want to wreck them!

Will let you know if I figure it out but any suggestions welcome. Feeling really down about this as now using disposables for two children as nappies are so foul smelling.

Another little trick I have discovered recently is to sprinkle a little Bicarbonate of Soda inside the nappy at nighttime, which really helps to reduce any stink, and also helps to prevent nappy rash as the alkaline of the bicarb helps to neutralise any acid :)
