Did anyone see GMTV this morning then?! A comment was made by a midwife/nurse who whoever she was that feeding your 4 year old breastmilk was as bad as giving it coca cola?! What, are you kidding me!!?

I have not seen the questionnaire this is regarding but I do not for a second believe that a bunch of questions with yes/no answers can give an accurate view on breast feeding.
Every individuals experience of breast feeding is different.
From what I have heard the questionnaire was very presumptuous about breast feeding and after seeing the swift response given (which I might add has a very ‘It’s just business’ feel to it) I am disgusted at GMTV and all who sail in her for either concocting the idea, running the idea and everyone there pretty much going along with the idea.
It’s such a shame because it aims to put so many more people off breast feeding yet it can be such a beautiful experience for both mother and child!
I suffered for 3 weeks in the beginning and have no regrets because now it is a wonderful experience and if given the opportunity to have more children I would only ever choose breast! x

It def. seems to be very geared towards anti-public feeding feelings. I’m sure they wouldn’t be allowed such bias if they were attacking bottle feeding in public…the Western world is just going increasingly crazy! I’m glad LLL have flagged this up.

Have just done that survey and think the LLL had it just right. Very biased and leading, what is the point of it?
