I’ve bought pre-loved Wee Notions before, always feeling slightly intimidated by the wealth of choice on the website and as I loved them so much I recently took the plunge and went for the whole shebang! I picked the fabrics, the style of the fabrics, the embroidery and where the embroidery went! I basically made my own nappy, without all the hard work and effort.
When the nappies (of course I bought more than one) arrived, they looked absolutely gorgeous, better than I’d pictured. The minkee and velboa outers I’d opted for were soft and fluffy, really eye catching prints that have since had countless comments and Molly was completely mesmerised! I chose cuddlesoft inners mainly because of how cute they sound and was very impressed with how dry they remained next to Molly’s bum despite the wetness of the inserts beneath, they were definitely cuddly soft too which I think must feel lovely for Molly.
The embroidery was absolutely beautiful, you wouldn’t know that these nappies are handmade as they are the absolute height of professional, polished, nappy perfection. I was able to choose from hundreds of embroidery options from readymade options right through to my own personal selections. If you have anything specific in mind, Suzanne and co. are very accommodating and will do their very best to see to it that your nappy is everything you hoped it would be.
From birth-to-potty to sized, from cow print velboa to plain white cotton, from full on, all over, all kinds of embroidery to half cut styles, to a little bit of absolutely everything, the choice really is all yours. Getting your head around it really isn’t that bad, the drop down boxes show you every possible option for fabrics and styles so the only complicated part is deciding what you want! Inserts are an added extra, however.
Wee notions products include: Sized nappies, BTP nappies, AI2 nappies, Night nappies, Wraps, Wipes, Liners, Change Mats and Wet bags all of which are customisable also, along with several items for mummies. Wee Notions are a real treat for your baby and also make excellent and thoughtful gifts for friends due to how highly customisable they are.
Wee Notions are a huge hit with nappy fans all over and remain a favourite in my stash, after all… I made them, sort of! The pictures included are of my lovely designs!

I loved this review, as I have just ordered my own personalised weenotions nappy and am so pleased to hear such a good review! The nappies look gorgeous, I also went for minkee outer and cuddlesoft inner with some embroidery on the back - I went for ‘IVF MIRACLE’ but am loving the ‘I heart mummy milk’ one!

I have ordered just a plain minki one. For the new baby of course! Although my tot is not potty trained yet! I am still trying to decide whet to have for new baby, as I am going to buy 3 more. I have always disliked choices!

Weenotions are a real daddy nappy! I dont find that many nappies out there as special as my partner does, but when I get to choose exactly how I want the nappy to look, it gets exciting!
I love dinosaurs and dinosaurs are typically boys but my little girl now sports a big pink dino bum!
I loved the idea of the wee notions when my friend got some and we did get a few special ones.
Unfortunately ( or fortunately for FYP) We have found they don’t keep her dry as long as other nappies and have also had a lot of trouble with the applix not keeping grip very well.
sorry that is so negative - maybe it was just the ones i bought but was really disappointed.
We love our WN - have 3 now and more to be ordered soon. They are super soft and an excellent fit

I wanted to get a cowhide print nappy for Jos when she was born, but didn’t manage it. Now I’m contemplating (thanks to this post!) getting one made that has our last name made into a brand (advantage of only having 3 letters in your name, easy to be creative) on the side of the bum! Calgary Stampede 2011, here we come! Of course, Jos may not be the baby wearing it by then!
The WN website is so dangerous, I’ve just ordered my first Headgehog Meadows night nappy and love it! I can’t believe how absorbant and well made it is, thank god the website isn’t easier to use or I’d be bankrupt!
I just came across this post looking for baby related things and was very intrigued with your post.
I’ve never seen this idea before and considering how many diapers get sold annually, this is a potential gold mine.
For me, why not have some fun with the diaper process because as we all know, its not all that glamorous.
My father in laws claim to fame is that he never changed a diaper.
Perhaps with this type of equipment, guys like him can get off the couch and get into the game with the rest of us.
Customizable clothing? I love it! I can’t wait to tell my wife (or maybe that will be dangerous…)
Hi there. I’m a granddad and I nearly fell off my chair reading about personalized nappies by Wee Notions. To me this sounds like wasting money, but my 3 daughters-in-law will not think so! I have already told them about Wee Notions and they sound very excited!
