Yeah I understand that. I wasnt having a go at you. I was just pointing out that every child is different and my kids are an 'exception to the rule' in this particular case. I really hope it stays that way :-/

Nice to hear they are working for you Leah, however these rashes are not isolated incidents and the issue does appear to be a very serious one.
We simply report on the news we find.

My 8wk old and 2 yr old kids have been using pampers nappies from when they first arrived in australia. NEITHER of my kids have had any nappy rash, boils, etc from the nappies. Neither of my kids can use the coles brand or woolworths brand of nappies as they get sever rash from them however nothing comes when i use pampers on them. I personally feel that Pampers are better designed and a better fit and are better than Huggies for drawing moisture away from the babys skin. You need to try the napp[ies you can comment on them. All nappies are different for different kids.

I am in Australia and have a seven week old boy. We used 2 packs of pampers swaddlers nappies when we first bought our baby home, and on the first night he developed a severe rash. I felt awful - I thought it was something I had done, or was not doing right. No nappy cream would get rid of the rash - which was raised and blistered. Baby Dexter screamed in pain every time we changed his nappy. The rash miraculously disappeared when we changed the brand of nappies. Pampers have a lot to answer for. They hurt my newborn baby, and they upset me when I couldn't stop his pain and had to try to explain his awful rash to the midwifes/ child health nurses.
