The brilliant Monkey Foot Design Wetbags are beautifully designed and made by the lovely Kris in the US, and because noone currently sells the double wetbags here in the UK, I decided to go direct to the source!

Kris was SO helpful and VERY patient as I ummed and errred my way through the dozens of fabric combos that I could choose from for my bespoke double wetbag creation! She has the most fantastic abundance of fabrics which cater to every taste, the hardest bit really is trying to choose! In the end I opted for a medium size wetbag made with a combination of beautiful Amy Butler fabrics that are both very stylish and vibrant, ideal for perking up the nappy-changing process!

I was very excited about my choice and when my bag arrived, beautifully wrapped in a ribbon, I was certainly not disapointed! Ooh it just looks SO GOOD!!! The quality of the fabrics, zips and poppers (on the handle) that Kris uses is very high and they are so beautifully put together and well made that I feel you get really good value for money here. The double wetbag has two zippered compartments, both lined with a fantastic waterproof liner that wipes clean (or the whole bag washes very well) and is perfect for containing messing stinky nappies and keeping the rest of your changing bag odour and poo free! I love the fact that I can keep my clean wipes and nappies in the front pocket, ready for use and then quickly, cleanly, and easily put the dirty things into the main pocket when changing, without any faffing about with tying up nappy sacks etc whilst trying to maintain control of a very wriggly baby!

I have been surprised at how versatile this bag has been, I thought it would stay in my changing bag and I would only use it for nappies. However, when we started our baby swimming classes recently, and I was trying to figure out how to organise myself for the nightmare that is, getting yourself and baby washed, dry and dressed after swimming (AKA The Kripton Factor!) I turned to my now trusty double wetbag! It was brilliant, I simply stuffed everything I needed, bar the towels into it; spare nappy, wipes, shampoo, locker money and of course the essential snack to keep Honey occupied while I get myself dressed! With it’s super handy poppered handle, I can hang the bag up with our towels pool-side so that I can quickly grab our wash things and avoid getting chilly having to go back to the locker which is brilliant. After our swim, I use the main pocket for our wet swimsuits and anything else that needs washed and all other bits and bobs fit neatly in the front. I feel so organised with my double wetbag (doesn’t happen very often for me!) and the number of comments and compliments I get from other mums when they see it is amazing - everyone wants one!!!

I also find that the Monkey Foot Wetbag is a fantastic alternative to taking your big baby bag everywhere with you, it is so much easier and less bulky to take into a babygroup or class, and you have more than enough room for all the essentials. It is also PERFECT for the supermarket! The handle strap can be poppered around the trolly handle, and in your bag you have plenty of room for your purse, keys, wipes and nappy (just in case!) and of course, a couple of toys or snacks to occupy your wee one! Of course the list of uses could be endless, from a gym-bag to a perfect little picnic bag to take to the park, this bag will be in use long after your wee one is out of nappies!

I am so delighted with my purchase and I can think of so many Mums that would love one of these as a gift (would make the most perfect present for a new Mum!) that I know that I shall be purchasing more Double Wetbags from Monkey Foot Designs in the future, my only concern is, how on earth will I choose the fabrics again!!!
