Bambooty Organic Bamboo Velour wipes are the latest in wipe sensations, a recent sell out at Cheeks and Cherries they are now back in stock. Read on to find out what makes these wipes so special and why they’re my new favourite gift…

Ease of use: 5/5
Softness: 5/5
Quality: 5/5
Value for money: 5/5

bambooty wipesBambooty wipes are made from Organic Bamboo Velour (OBV) and a soft cotton blend. They arrive well presented in bundles of 4, wrapped in a red ribbon making them a lovely gift or simply a nice little treat! My first impressions were that the wipes were very soft and felt like good quality materials. There’s nothing quite like brand new OBV, if you ask me!

The wipes washed well and dried in a respectable couple of hours on an airer by the radiator. I was very impressed by this as my plain bamboo wipes took far longer and dried quite hard, whereas these wipes remained very soft and, after several washes, they are still as soft as new.

Using the wipes has made my life that little bit easier. Messy poops can be a bit of a nightmare with a wriggly baby so the job needs doing quickly! Bambooty wipes make this possible as the messiest poops take minimal clearing, there’s no smearing poop around and it takes 2 wipes at most. Once done, you just pop them in the nappy and into the pail they go! Easy!

I, personally, loved these wipes the most for my little one’s morning wash, coupled with some natural/organic wipe solutions they are soft and gentle on her skin. I have also used them dry, with a spray solution and found the OBV very effective. For me, they have been excellent at every turn and have a surprisingly wide variety of uses. Just recently Molly has been teething and when Sophie the giraffe just wasn’t cutting it, I immediately thought of a moist bambooty wipe and she genuinely loved it. It’s the perfect fabric, non abrasive and, I imagine…, quite nice to chew.

For the more creative and savvy amongst you, they are a blank canvas for your home dying projects which is something I am currently looking into trying out! These wipes are already the very best I have tried and I will be buying many more. I have also given them as gifts to several friends and as prizes on my forum and they have been very well received. Their many uses (a friend found them wonderful on her poor, overwiped nose during a recent illness) and squidgy softness make them a lovely gift for newborns and new mummies alike (think luxury reusable breast pads!).

Cheeks and Cherries recently sold out and new stock has just arrived so, at the very reasonable price of £5 a set, I’d get in there quickly (before me!), before they sell out again! You might also want to check out the new Bambooty printed nappies while you’re there, another sell out from the well reputed name!
