Wonderoo V2 - Review
Tuesday, June 8th, 2010The new Wonderoo V2s are a squidgy, soft BPT pocket nappy. Their absorbency is impressive and with their quietly good looks they will soon become a stash essential. Read on to find out why I loved these and even used them as a night nappy on my heavy wetter!
Absorbency: 5/5
Fit: 5/5
Ease of use: 5/5
Style: 4/5
The Wonderoo V2 is a real dark horse. It isn’t the prettiest nappy on the market and it doesn’t stand out very much, but when it comes to performance this nappy is exceptional at every turn.
The fit of the nappy is very slim for a birth-to-potty and considering the thickness of the inserts it sits very well on my 6 month old on the medium setting. The inserts are made up of a squidgy bamboo trifold and a microfibre booster which poppers on to the colour coded snaps on the bamboo trifold, pink for a girl (booster sits further back) and blue for a boy (booster sits further forward). Clever and it works very well.
I recently stripwashed a few of my nappies which included the night nappies and, stupidly, I didn’t think to set any to one side and of all the remaining nappies the Wonderoo really stood out with it’s thick inserts as a potential solution! I was very impressed as the nappy went a full 12 hours with no signs of wicking and it remained dry against my little one’s delicate skin. She’s quite the heavy wetter so I wasn’t expecting miracles as all our night nappies are custom made and filled with Zorb to stand any chance of coping, but the Wonderoo did it no problems! I’d recommend them to anyone struggling to find a good night time nappy!
After 3 weeks wit the nappy, we’re still incredibly pleased and looking to buy more.
I found the nappy very easy to use and it performed very well under pressure and despite the lack of patterns, the pastel colours are still very pretty and babyish and certainly wouldn’t put me off buying any more. They are worth every penny as a reliable, durable nappy. At £14 each, you get more than you pay for in my opinion!

Just wondered how if differed from the V1?
The main differences are that the v2 is designed with slimmer cut, and is not quite as wide at the crotch, and the large insert is now a fold over bamboo terry rather than the microfibre
