Holden’s Landing are the Holy Grail of Cloth! With no limits to customisation, you can design a true work of art for your Little One. These nappies are just too good to wear! Well… almost…

Holden’s Landing is run by the lovely Bonnie Vontz who is based in Connecticut, USA. Her nappies are the ultimate in customisable cloth and there is nothing she can’t do with a little bit of bamboo velour and some thread! Her products range from nappies, wipes and wool covers to bedding and clothing and are famous the world over, if you haven’t checked her out, you certainly will do now!

BedBugs

BedBugs are a sized, fitted (needs a cover), side snap night nappy. They come in a choice of two fabrics, Bamboo fleece or Organic Bamboo Velour (OBV/BOV) and customisable core placement; Boy, Girl or Gender Neutral for optimum absorbency in all the right places! The outer fabric can be hand dyed to the colour combinations of your choice, with your choice of snap colour and your choice of embroidery (more on this later). For added absorbency, each BedBug comes with two bamboo fleece boosters topped with your choice of fleece or OBV. These nappies are my, personal, favourite night nappy. The unique level of customisation makes them extra special, luxurious and perfect for snuggling into bed.

All in 2 (AI2)

All in 2 nappies are PUL lined so there is no need for a cover of any kind. As customisable as BedBugs, these are a popular daytime choice. The range of fabrics are the same as BedBugs with the exception of cotton. You can, of course, also use a mixture of fabrics to create your ideal nappy.

Lovies/Lovescapes:

Lovies are gorgeous little blankets, custom made for your little one to snuggle up with. An must have for part of any bedtime routine, these blankets are made from luxurious organic bamboo velour, silk and other snuggly fabrics that are hand dyed and customised to perfection. Attached teddies/dollies are a special custom option provided by Hillcountry Dollmaker.

Embroidery:

The embroidery is what sets HL apart from anyone else I have encountered in the cloth world, there is nothing that cannot be done! Bonnie is a true artist and spends time and effort lovingly crafting each of her works of art, which is so very obvious when you look at her work. The only downside is deciding what you would like, which has proven to be a real task and also a creative outlet for some mums who have even sent their designs only to have them replicated and, in many cases, improved upon. Many of her regular customers are so pleased that they often leave it to the expert to choose for them, and they are never disappointed.

In all, Holden’s Landing is the absolute height of cloth nappy customisation. The fit of each nappy is excellent and the quality superb. I have yet to find a single fault in any HL product, from wipes, to nappies and beyond and would recommend them to anyone.
