was glad to read that I was not the only one to have the leak issue though I tried everything including the gusset readjustment and had 2 different ones, I will admit to using the slimma stuffs to boost my night nappies and they are my first choice of booster, I just wish we had got on with the outers as well.

I had exactly same problems as Holly. I've tried and washed these nappies countless times, but each time came out with leakage as if the baby is not wearing a nappy. We now only use it as a wrap.

Thanks for your comments Miranda- clearly Holly didn't get on well with this nappy, which is fair enough.
Personally we have used the Stuffables on our 2 and don't have any complaints, although they are not the favourite nappies in our stash.
I do particularly like the general softness of them though- they seem especially squidgy and yummy!
I think it was the Slimma Stuffs that she used in the nappy- which again we have used and think they are brilliant. We sell lots of these so obviously other people agree! :)

I am disappointed that for a review you've not photographed the exact nappy you trialled - the one you tried you state was Aplix fastening. The picture you've published is again an incorrect one as it has poppers. Nature Babies use Aplix because it is renown for being the best and most sticky for use with cloth nappies. At the time of your testing the Stuffable had one of the largest sized tabs on the market - the BumGenius has since had to re-invent itself with bigger tabs. Perhaps your friend had failed to use the laundry tabs and allowed the hooks to accumulate fluff!

We have sold hundreds of these without a complaint. They're particularly popular in Europe, and the many prints are very popular particularly overseas (I think it's a tad mean to rate zero for style when you have a white one rather than one of the dozen or so prints and colours they offer).
I'm sorry you were disappointed with the function of this nappy but am supposing there's a possibility yours could just be a faulty sample? It seems to me to be very odd that it doesn't suit any of your trial models, unless perhaps the fit was't adjusted for. Sometimes an outward tweak of the leg gussets after doing up allows the pressure of the elastic created as you pull it round your baby to fasten can even up and make a snugger fit all round.
Nature Babies are renowned for their excellent customer service and I'm sure Isobel wouldn't hesitate to swap your trial one for something funkier and more to your taste.

I'm also curious, as you don't mention it, as to which inserts came with your nappy. This Stuffable is correctly supplied with two Slimma Stuffs - inserts comprising 2 parts bamboo and one part microfibre, which in tests proved to be excellent at absorbtion and retention.

Your picture does appear to be a Nature Babies 'essentials' Stuffable rather than a Stuffable V2 - they are very different nappies so it may be worth changing your title, or at least double checking which nappy it was that you tested...
