My first impressions of the Monkey Snuggled fitted nappy were how squidgy and soft it was. I’m an Organic Bamboo Velour (OBV) addict so this nappy was complete heaven for me. OBV outer, inner and topped boosters - all in the same matching dye and super soft and squidgeable! Perfect for my baby’s bum. Then I noticed that the two boosters that come with the nappy are actually poppered in and can be removed for ease of use and faster drying. I got a little bit excited then. Fitteds made even easier? Yes please!

I actually got so excited that I didn’t even manage to prewash the nappy! I popped it straight onto Molly’s bum and took a few pictures of her trying to crawl around. The fit is excellent, as a one size fitted it incorporates snap down poppers for smaller babies and a higher rise for bigger. With generously sized tabs and 3 poppers on each, the nappy is generously sized yet secure. No wing droop here!

Two hours later I became a little wary of the fact that I had yet to prewash the nappy and was pleased to find that it was still dry to the touch on the outside. Thinking perhaps Molly hadn’t wet it much, I popped it into the wash and thought nothing more about it. Several prewashes later, I was very pleased to note that the nappy dries very quickly! Night nappy emergencies are no more, this nappy dried on a regular airer in 3 hours! On a line in the sun 1 1/2! Amazing.

Better still, when I tried it out again it held the moisture incredibly well and, again, no trace of wetness on the outside after a good 4 hours. So, what’s the secret of this wonder nappy? Monkey Snuggles fitted nappies feature a layer of organic bamboo fleece (70% bamboo 30% organic cotton) sandwiched between a layer of organic bamboo velour (70% bamboo 28% organic cotton 2% polyester) on the inside and outside, they also include two 4-layer velour topped sewn in soakers! All that and no bulk…!

These nappies are designed to fit babies from around 10 lbs - 35 lbs (or more, dependent upon the shape of your baby).

In all I am so very impressed with these nappies that I need to get rid of a few of my usual fitteds to buy more of these, the quality is exceptional and I just cannot fault it. I’m normally a huge nappy fan and struggle to find major fault with most modern cloth nappies but this particular nappy performed exceptionally. A real rave review!
