Thirsties duo wraps are birth to potty (BTP) cloth nappy covers backed in waterproof polyurethane laminate (PUL) and come in either aplix or snap fastenings.
I was very impressed with the bright print of this wrap and loved it straight away, popping it straight over my daughter’s fitted nappy - these wraps come in 12 different colours and prints, each as bright and funky as the next. The first thing I noticed, when fitting the wrap, was that the gusset protection was nice and snug around her thighs but also that the elastic was very stretchy and soft which I later noted had not left an imprint despite how snug the wrap felt around her waist. I was impressed with this more than anything else as it is the first wrap I have encountered not to leave an imprint of any kind which I liked as it’s always nice to feel that your baby is as comfortable as possible.
These wraps are barely there and they are very slim fitting and light in weight, this makes for less bulk and a less noticeable cover overall. The fit is so snug and so trim that at first glance it doesn’t look like part of a two part nappy set up at all. Despite the single depth snaps (for those opting for snaps) there is no hint of wing droop and the whole thing holds very securely.
Easy to use (your choice of aplix of snaps), wash and dry these wraps can be reused several times until soiled. And, at the bargain price of £8.95 these wraps are set to become a stylish, affordable and versatile staple in every great stash.
Overall, I am thrilled with the discovery of these wraps!

I hate it when any nappy leaves marks on my baby, it makes me feel really bad. So it’s great to hear of a snug fitting, leak-proof product that doesn’t have this side-effect.
I had a Thirsties Duo wrap in size 1. We got it when my daughter was around 12/13 lbs so I expected to get a lot of use out of it … but at first use it was nearly on the largest setting, both for the rise and the waist. When she was around 15 lbs we sold the wrap on because the rise was not sufficient to cover her nappies anymore. I agree the fabric is great and the leg gussets are a very nice shape, but I felt it was not a good use of my nappy money because she grew out of it so quickly.
These wraps are really good don’t mark my lo’s skin, wash and dry quick and are great value I recommend.
