The Pop-in Cool Fit training pants have a Tencel outer (a man-made fibre from natural materials), a hidden waterproof layer, with a microfibre core and a polyester layer against toddlers bottoms.
We tried the large size, which according to the size guide is for 12.5-13.5kgs. On our 14kg+ toddler they were baggy, so they did not look as nice as other training pants, but the elastic did its job and they stayed in place.
As a training pant they were great, we had an accident, and the pants coped with it beautifully; there was no leaks (which we have found with other training pants) and Noah was very aware that he was wet and was asking for dry pants. I can’t comment on their capability with poos, as so far they have all gone in the potty!
The pants only come in one colour option, but they are trimmed in either orange or green, with an animal on the front; which made them look more attractive.
They dried quickly, I wash and dry overnight and they were always dry by the next morning. On those sunny days they dry in a couple of hours in the garden.
I haven’t fallen in love with these, especially at £19 a pair. I wouldn’t buy a complete set of these, but I think they would be great for car journeys and in that special outfit where you really don’t want leaks!
