Fill Your Pants reviewed on The Good Web Guide

We are delighted to have been reviewed on The Good Web Guide this week, and even more delighted at how good the review was! We were described as a ‘one-stop shop’ for supplying all that one needs to go cloth, which has always been our aim, and the review also featured a section on our fabulous team of Nappy Gurus- the ultimate nappy advice team!

You can have a read of our review here, and please do feel free to submit a mini-review of us on there too- it only takes a minute!

We are also entrants in The Good Web Guide Website of the Year 2010- very exciting! If you would like to give us a plug to help support our entry you can do so here, and we would be mega grateful!

*hugs*

Breastfeeding at Work- It can be done!

As an expectant first time mum, breastfeeding was always something I wanted to ‘try’. But was adamant during my pregnancy it would only be something I would do if it was right for me and right for my baby. But once I laid eyes on my tiny little newborn, something inside me changed. I was absolutely desperate to breastfeed him and give him the best start in life. We struggled in the first few weeks – but soon we were both naturals! Read on….

Childbirth and Full Moons

Hoooooowwwwwl! Is that a wolf or a contracting woman I hear?!

So baby FYP the 2nd is due this Thursday, which I had determined as a day of a full moon some time ago. I remembered watching a tv programme years ago about the cycles of the moon and their effects on all aspects of nature and human society- including emergency services, police stations and hospital wards all being noticably busier under the influence of a full moon…. I was the nurturing type and had decided being a mother would come easily and naturally to me, whenever the time came.

Why, then, when the time did come, was Attachment Parenting such a battle for us?

Parenting Lesson #1: Pace Yourself!

Well Valentines day started off so promisingly, I got a lovely card, beautiful flowers, yummy chocolates, AND a voucher to get a massage treatment (this would be making up for the four previous years where I got nothing!) - lucky Mummy! My husband insisted I go and get my massage treatment and then meet him and Honey for lunch afterwards - I did not argue, and his brownie points were totting up by the second! I was feeling thoroughly spoilt and special and had a wonderfully relaxing treatment. Unfortunately that is where the loveliness ended. Read on….
