Welcoming Sophie!

The latest addition to our shelves here at the Fluffy Palace is Sophie La Giraffe! Sophie is a beautifully made 100% natural rubber teething toy, first made nearly 50 years ago in France. Ever since, she has been delighting the hearts of our little ones with her beautiful little squeak!

Common Sense Campaign

Most of us will have looked into using cloth nappies for certain reasons, maybe it was the cost factor or that disposable nappies are just creating too much landfill! So it would seem common sense to choose an option that was both cost effective and waste effective.
One-sized nappies are both great on your wallet and great on the environment, as you only need to buy one set of nappies to last from birth (approx. 8lbs for most nappies) to potty, and it is much greener as you will be using less.

  The Itti Bitti D’Lish is an All In Two style nappy, meaning it has an outer shell/wrap and  insert the soaker set that snaps inside. The general idea of this type of nappy is that when the soaker becomes wet, you unpop the wet inserts and replace them with a fresh new set.

Better late than never….

I admit it, I’ve been bad, very bad, but I blame ignorance over idiocy. I raised my daughter from birth to potty in disposables. Think of the waste, well, I know of the waste as it was me chucking bag after bag of stinky nappies out in the rubbish each week. Think of the money, it must have been an extra £10 a week on average on my shopping bill, for a grand total of 116 weeks that my daughter was in nappies. That’s £1160 into the landfill with my daughters poop…, maybe it was idiocy…. Read on…
